My PS2 is a japanese version, which I brought from hk when PS2s weren't in the US yet
so... no modding is necessary for my hella old PS2..... I am just afraid that it won't hold up for the endurance races....

EBgames will trade in your dead PS2 for $35 (or something) towards your new one. I traded mine in when I finally killed the drive a month or so ago. I'd probably resuurected that thing a dozen times already. It was time to let go and move forward. And damn is it skinny!
