Currently looking for the best person in the world. Requirements are as follows: 1. Has some spare time. 2. Wants to help out a fellow Subie owner.
With that being said, I'm having an oil leak/burn off issue on my 2005 WRX. Passenger side of engine bay. Already have new valve cover gaskets. Just replaced the relief gasket on top of the valve cover. Still having issues and am unable to pinpoint where my leak is. Any and all ideas are welcome, and even more so, someone who is willing to maybe meet up and help me diagnose/fix this problem in person. I reside in Santa Cruz, but can travel a little bit (prefer it to not be far considering I have car issues). PLEASE HELP!!

I'm pretty sure there's a ton of us in here who can help you. The disconnect is you seem to want a combination of showing you how to do it, doing that for free, and finishing it off for you.
Welcome to the forum new member. May I suggest you host a wrench-a-thon day, invite peeps over for food (ideally bbq), "sodas", and cameraderie. Then you'll see what it takes to run w some of the best.

Did you do the spark plug tube gaskets at the same time as valve cover? Those should be done together. Next would be cam seal IMO, possibly turbo oil lines, and after that you're probably looking at mechanic for the larger items it could be. Sure it isn't steering rack and/or pump? That also tends to leak at higher mileage.
