but then again, there are lots of sheep and bandwagoners (besides Laker-haters) in BAIC!

LOL wassup Joe. Sorry man, but ah, I can't cheer for the Lakers, its just not in me. Plus Wallace and Hamilton are from Philly and so am I, so I'm gonna cheer for em. Wallace went to Simon Gratz high school which was my first high schools basketball rival.

Well, at least Kobe was able to keep his wittle eyes dry this year. Poor guy cried like a ***** when the Spurs sent them packing last season.

Gloat all you want about PAST championships, enjoy them, because when a team goes into rebuilding, it sucks, and so does your team

A guide to posting. By: CLsmooth71

Each post should say "go lakers" somewhere within. If said post is in reference to the Sacramento Kings (it should always be derogatory), make sure to quote an overplayed song by an out of work singer (see "westcoast party" quote) and post a picture of a Laker holding a trophy (the last for many, many years) and at least one or two of Kings walking off the court following a defeat.

With this guide, even the casual Laker fan can gloat about things in the past for years to come.

College coaches are notorious for bombing in the NBA...look at the last few...i.e.Pitino.

Great college coaches don't make great NBA coaches.

On top of that if you look at montgomery..his standford track record has been based off pure team work and long lasting players...a system coach. He's a great one.

He's used to guys that will do it for the team. Overachievers. How many Stanford players do you see succeeding in the NBA. I mean the collins twins are about the best and they are just doing ok. One better than the other. But what happened to the great casey and borchardt? Nothing.

In the NBA you have STARS. you have people that want the ball. One on one ball. Isolation. etc....I think that it works. Musselmen was like that. Get the hot players on the floor. If you're not playing hard and not playing well...you're off the floor..even if you are the best player we have. That is why players didn't like him. If montgomery works out it will be on a system. I think the warriors have good players and can do well with growth and the right moves. But for it to work the players aren't gonna be getting the support the wanted from musselment. I think they are just getting themselves into the same situation with a different name.

Warriors management=pretty much the worst track record of any team ever.

dude... you got it right on the spot.

the reason the stanford mens team did so well is they are A TEAM. not individual players.

while i going to college in the late 80's, there was a player for stanford named todd lichti (IIRC).

he was like best player for stanford. drafted by denver and kinda became like all stanford players right now, with the exception of the the collins dude in NJ who starts.

what i see montgomery is first few months will be exciting.

but the nba is all about the players. not coaches. and look at larry brown. 21 years since he jumped shipped from kansas!

i love the warriors. but please, someone else buy this team!

musselman seemed so sad when i saw him doing color work for an espn show. i was ashmed.

this is what the warriors needed and he was thrown away like last weeks trash.

i see montgomery lasting 2 years. middle of 3rd year, he'll retire or be fired. meanwhile musselman is doing hella good somewhere else...
