Is there any one more local than Redwood city or Santa Cruz? I see on the web there is an independent Subaru service guy in Mountain view, can anyone recommend him?
Subaru Auto Independent Service

Wherever you go, make sure you get a checklist of what they do and check what you can do first. It'll save you money in the end.

For example most people change their own motor oil, diff fluid, and can check their own tires. Santa Cruz Subaru took off some of the price because they wouldn't have to do all that for me.
