Jenson

I bought my sedan there, good price and the salesman was friendly. I did have a wheel balance problem with my car right off the lot. The steering wheel would dance a little bit in my hands up at 75+. I took it back to Jenson and they went over 'everything' and re-balanced all 4 wheels. I got the car back and still had the vibration. So I wasn't that happy. Later I took the car to Downtown Subaru in Oakland on Broadway and Von (thae service mgr.....very good guy!!!!) said, yes I had a wheel balance problem present and subletted the work to a tie shop for balancing. No more vibration.

On the other hand, my parents bought a 2002 Outback from Jenson and my aunt bought a 2003 Forester from Jenson. My parents have had a few services performed at Jenson and have nothing but praise, also had a recall-performed for some shift lock pawl on the A/T and no complaints. I have talked to Gary Urkhart, the service mgr at Jenson and he seems easy to deal with. I would call Gary and express your concerns and explain your bad experiences and I'm sure he'll go out of his way to please you. That's my thoughts anyway.......if you communicate clearly how much a good service department matters (and bring them a very very clean and well maintained car), they will try to 'bend over backwards' to please you. Just let them know you are paying attention to their work.

good luck,
