I think sandblasting is a good idea, as long as it doesnt scuff the surface TOO much, that would be a lot faster than handsanding and way more efficient.

Im wondering why the paint is chipping...maybe the weather was too cold and didnt stick well enough? I used the duplicolor wheel paint and it hasnt chipped or anything, its been about 7 months now. Although my lugnuts are pretty chipped, not a good idea to paint those! Pro paint job will come out blingin', how much will that run?

 

I tried spraying the wheels today with the paint stripper. It worked pretty well for the most part but there are still many areas where there is primer and the oem paint left. Some parts the oem paint is gone and is down to the bare metal. If I wanted to soak the wheels in Jasco will it matter if I still have the tires on the wheels, won't do anything to the rubber will it???
