I'm in the process of repairing a cracked oil pan on a 99 VW Passat. The oil pan has this bizarre drain plug reminiscent of a transmission or diff bolt. I think sometime in the last 10 years of jiffy lube changes, it picked up some odd parts. Anyway, it needs a hex, and according to my caliper, I need a 14. (And yes, I am aware that many BMWs and Porsches have a special 17mm drain plug, this tool was too big) So I was wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can pick up such a tool. I would be willing to buy a hex driver set too if it included this size. Anyone have any ideas?
