When it's raining, DON'T DRIVE LIKE A DOUCHE!

Wife and daughter at stoplight...1/2 car length between car in front.

This is the result of:

1. Wet road.
2. Driving like a douche.

The douche was very lucky that Auburn PD showed up before I did...

I saw the pics on FB, I didn't realize it was your wife's car and that your daughter was in the car when it happened... Damn, at no fault to them they get hit in the rear and hit the car in front of them, all because someone couldn't stop in time, probably texting while driving!!!

Glad they are ok!

Hope everything is ok with your wife and daughter Paul. Sorry to hear about this, but I know exactly what you mean. I've seen it more so on the first rain than any other time too which makes matters worse.

hope everyone is alright. it's the most slippery on first rain because there's a layer of junk that builds up on the road.

also, don't drive thinking you're invincible in the rain because of AWD.

+1 AWD doesn't help you stop. That's all up to your tires and brakes.

Wow.... my Girlfriend and I a few months ago got hit by a douche in a 4 runner with bald tires. Deployed the airbag into my face and did 7k in damages to her car (luckily we took her car, this was right after I got my new headlamps!) It was after the first rain of the year, and you'd figure that people in my area would be accustomed to driving in the rain/snow. Glad to see everyone was "okay."
