What's with the gold rims?

Ya so I'm gonna get reamed for this but why the hell does everyone love the damn gold rims!?!

Is it just because the STI comes with them by default and everyone wants their car to look like that?

I think it's a terrible look...on any color car. Looks ghetto to me. Am I alone? If I am, I'll shut up

i still dont really understand the whole gold rim thing. i mean to say, i get it, but i dont get it. it looks bad *** on the WRC car and some other cars ive seen on the street, but i really dont think its that "cool"

IMHO, It's paying tribute to the rally heritage. I say it only looks right on a subie. Subarus are the only cars that can pull it off.

BTW, you can get the silver wheels.

lol....well it seems like I'm not alone but it looks like a majority of people around here like the gold......I just think it's weird


BTW, I drive the Yellow 03 Sedan around SF with the Transformers stickers on it...wave hi if you see me

I got between Marin and South SF a lot


probly kinda funny that a guy big a fugly yellow car is posting about how he doesn't like gold rims but whateva!

im in the city too, usually around the ocean ave area... i drive a 03 black wrx w/ grey sub zeros, tints, lowered, and STi head lights.
