actually gold looks good on a lot of cars, i've always favored gold rims on my cars, depends on the color of the car too though

because gold is classic for subaru, its not only the STi that came with them...the 98 RS's also came with Gold wheels, if you look at the JDM and UK versions of earlier model scoobs, they came with factory gold wheels as well...

just like what Owlboogie said, its like respect to the rally heritage, and IMO, gold just looks pimpin' on subies

gold weighs less. seriously, if you pick up a gold tarmac II and a gunmetal tarmac II, the gold one is noticably lighter.
