theres actually no chance they will call it a Z07, that name relates to nothing. The Z06 name comes from a group of corvette race cars from 40 years ago, so it will always only be Z06, this model though is not going to be a Z06 but one level higher, so far info from GM calls it the Corvette SS

That's what they said about the C6 Z06 before it walked all over just about everything short of a few uber cars like the Carrera GT, Enzo, etc.
I referred to is as the Z07 'cause that's just an easy way to denote one better than the Z06. I don't like the idea of SS 'cause it reminds me of cheaper lines like the Cobalt SS and I don't like Blue Devil 'cause it's a reference to Duke. What they should call it, I don't know. Another cool RPO number like ZR-2 would be nice, though it's tough to top the cool RPO numbers already used like ZR-1 and Z06. SP-2 or one of the names of the Duntov era racers would be pretty neat.
Are those carbon/ceramic rotors I spy Krinkov?
