Get a 3 series BMW. You can get a nice one for half of that or an m3 for a little more. But if she's not into speed, get your hands on a 330 zhp Package and you'll love it I promise. If not that then the mini Cooper s or is300?
If she could add a bit more $, how about new Ford fiasta or Hyundai Elantra? Those small cars are pretty nice these days. Not fast, but fun to drive. Easy on gas money too. Personally, I would like 2012 Ford Focus titanium model. These subies drink too much gas to be my DD - I guess I'm getting old now......

I've been looking at pretty much all of the cars that have been mentioned. My GF really likes Mini's but I've never been a big fan. Sometimes I miss my 96 Miata and the S2000 is intriguing.

Why not fix the cause of the oil issue? I really doubt it is a bad motor when it only has 130k. Then save your money for the car you really want, or something else.
