what should i go with?
So i have a injen fmic on my 04 wrx right now, but i am going to be installing some new things and getting my car tuned by ED. I have a large tmic in my closet right now and i wanted to know what you guys thought i should get rid of the fmic and go with the tm or am i just an idiot?
Here is my mod list.
18g turbo ported
sti turbo lines
sti injectors ( installing deatsworks 650cc's )
hks up pipe
hallman pro mbc ( to be installed )
injen fmic ( or the tmic )
k&n typhoon s/r intake
gfb 50/50 bov
walbro Fuel pump
accessport v1
perrin d.p.
apexi exhaust
perrin light weight crank pully

question is...street car or track car.
me personally...I don't really see the point of an FMIC on a street car except that it looks hot and you can draw more cops to your car.
I personally am a fan of larger TMIC's on street cars.

Though I think the nice thing about the FMIC is you get less heat soak on the intercooler.

if you like the performance of the FMIC stick with it. The TMIC will give you a little better response, but you will get more heat soak. With the 18g a big TMIC is probably the best for overall power though.
