Boreal has like a 4" base but they are open, Mammoth also has about 1/4 of their mountain open, but unless we get a buttload of snow in the next couple weeks, there won't be much skiing in CA at Thanksgiving this year.

Utah is probably your best bet

Well I believe most ski resorts are open on thanksgiving day if thats what you are asking. It sound slike you were asking if becuase it is a holiday will they be open.

In the past and i know this isnt true for ALL mountains, chirstmas day is the only day they arent open. SOme are open though until like 4pm on Xmas eve though.

Most ski hills that don't have night skiing end their day at 3:30 or 4 until the days get longer in the late season, but what ski hill is not open on X-mas day?

Unless you have extensive snow-making, opening on or before Thanksgiving is entirely up to the weather, so that is not a given either- like I said, unless we get a significant weather system between now and then- if you want to ski on real snow in the next 2 weeks, you should probably be looking at Utah

Yeah, I haven't encountered ANY mountain that's closed Christmas Day. I try to ride Christmas Day juts because a lot of people don't even go to the mountain
