Comcast since 1999. I do the same trick a lot of people do. Call them and ***** them out about pricing. They'll drop it to whatever special rate they got depending on how pissy you sound and how long you've been with them. The lowest I've ever talked them down to was $30 a month for a year.
I work for att in santa rosa ca. I can make the order for you or anyone if anyone needs it. I would really really appreciate it. If you have att/cingular cell phone service and make the DSL order through me I'll show my appreciation and give you $20 bucks off your bill. I would make commission off the DSL sale so it's my way of saying thanks. It also makes me look good.
Thanks in advance

Same here. I've had AT&T DSL for years, every year it sees like the price drops and the speed increases. For the most part it works great, but at least a few times a year it just starts dropping out for a few hours at a time for maybe a few days in a row, and I end up digging out the modem. And about once a year something gets seriously messed up and I have to go onto dslreports to get help from some tech, but that works a lot better than if you call. (In fact it works pretty well.) My wife's dad worked for a company that did phone support for AT&T DSL, and he told me that if you call, you have to call 3 times in the same day with the same problem before you'll get to talk to an actual tech who has any idea what's going on. But I'm being too negative. Obviously I'm happy enough with it to stick with it for years.

I have DSL with 5 static IP addresses which means I can host my own websites and stuff. It is awesome. Of course I don't know how to compare it to other services because I never had them, but the static IP is what I need.
