still have:

90 toyota 4runner:

* 150:1 final gear ratio
* dual transfer cases
* ARB air locker in the rear, detroit TRU-TRAC geared LSD in front
* WCOR custom IFS with 14" travel
* custom made portable winch mount with 9000 pound warn winch

wouldnt exactly call it a hot rod since the v6 in there is slower than molasses... waiting for it to blow so i can stick in a supra v6 or a v6 from a 3rd gen 4runner

1979 Porsche 924 "beater" back in the late 90s. Calling it in any way/shape/form a "Hot Rod" is REALLY stretching the truth a good bit

your name fits.....but hey...least you had the juice to back it up.

Some of you guys have had TONS of car.

My previous 2 cars where an 88 ford ranger XLT extended. I miss it. and a civic.
So that fits this thread.

1997 civic coupe. DX.
All motor. No race car but it was fun as hell. Flew on the freeway and in the twisties and that's all I cared about.

I ran a few different suspension set ups on it (including coil overs, Zeal) but when it was riding the best it was set up like this.....

Konis/neuspeed springs.
Suspension Tech rear sway bar. Neuspeed rear tie bar. Neuspeed front strut bar. Civic Type R front sway bar (HUGE) with ctr lca's and si forks. 17's. 40 series toyos.

Motor wise very simple. AEM fuel rail. AEM pullies. AEM cam gear. custom cam. strait exhaust. AEM cold air. some misc polishing.

was fun. nice gearing for high speed runs.

I really miss the car. My girlfriend actually liked it better than the wrx. But I think that will change once I get the V7 Type C's on there.

89 Ford Escort - gave it away as soon as I was able to afford another car.
92 Toyota Celica - sold it at 250k miles for $4,500!
72 Datsun 510 - had it for 2 months, didn't have time to deal with all the rust.
88 Honda CRX Si - NASA HPDE car, still have it but selling it though: http://www.craigslist.org/sby/car/61356102.html

Bought my WRX wagon to haul baby around. Want a Caterham when finances open up a little.

Should have had a '69 Dodge Charger, parents veto'd that. Or an '88 Pontiac Trans Am GTA, parents veto'd that to.

That was a fun *** car!!! a friend of mine in high school had one of those. We beat the crap out of that car. Drove it like hell for two years.

I had a 1989 Nissan maxima with 200,000 + miles on it before the WRX. Engine was strong, but the master cylinder was gone and it had a couple of other problems that put it over the "going to spend money to save this thing" threshold.

Well, my scoob, is actually my first import...... but my list is as follows:

1989 Ford Aerostar minivan - "handled like a porche" LOL, that was my motto for it....Bwahahahaha......I actually lowered it and put rims/tires on it.....believe it or not, that thing would drift quite nicely on slick damp pavement. <~~~sold it though

1995 Chevy Tahoe "coupe" 2 door. - still have her "Bigtyrz"
Currently setup with a 6" procomp stage 2 lift, 3" body lift, 35" BFG MTs, Fully built tranny click here for a complete desc. of tranny rebuild, Swapped the corp. 10 bolt out for a Detroit locked Dana 60 w/35 spline axles, 4.56 gears front/rear, Doug Thorley headers, Flowmaster muffler, K&N custom intake, JET Stage 2 chip, Stant 180deg. Thermostat.

Future upgrades - ORU Solid axle swap w/Dana 60 high pinion, Atlas 2 Transfer case, custom 3 link coilover setup for mass wheel travel, Homegrown Bowtie Crate motor, and probably a few other minor things...but thats the majority of it.

03 WRX Sedan, w00t!

after my garage gets built, I wanna get a 72 510 2 or 4 door also, and "hot rod" the crap outta it.
