What Import HoT-ROd did you have before your WRX??
Before my WRX my first import hot rod had to be my Nike Air Jordans. The leather was off some poor cows hide in India at $.50 a yard, exported and assembled in Africa for $2.00 and finally imported to America and sold to me for $150.00. I used to get some serious air in those things or maybe I'm fooling myself and just wanted to be like Mike...
Actually it was and still is a 93 Integra LS, kept bone stock for the most part.

73 Volvo Transmission did not live past my repeated attempts to burn out.
84 Volkswagen Quantum. I thought it was fast Haha! Drove through a puddle and killed it.
74 Chevy (NOT Ford) Monte Carlo. I don't know why.
73 Ford Econoline van. $50, that is why.
68 Buick Lesabre. Still own it. I only drive it on Spare the Air days
98 Subaru Legacy GT. Bought because I was sick of waiting for the WRX to show up.
05 Subaru WRX STi.. Finally... Let the payments begin.

I had a BMW 635csi, and an Audi 4000CS quattro, before them I had another subie wagon, a forester and an RX-7.
Couldn't afford to keep the bimmer, although I miss the sunroof- the WRX meets or exceeds it in just about every other regard, except maybe looks, the 6 was a really pretty car (and its cruise control held 120, compared to the stupid subie CC which won't hold more than about 88).
I still have a couple of Audi's kicking around though

05 WRX Wagon - Cobb Stg 2.5 - current ~250whp
01 Accord V6 - Comptech Supercharged ~250whp
92 Prelude Si - bored to 2.4 with LudeSpeed Turbo ~290whp
98 Ford F350 TD - Big Woof Turbo, ECU, few other goodies ~400whp + 850lb-ft
53 Bel Air - 454 bored to 463(.040 over), TH400, weiand 11-71, ~900whp +1200lb-ft
83 280ZX Turbo - Chevy 350HO, Tremec T56, Vortech SQ Trim ~ 550whp + 600lb-ft
I've had somewhere around 30 cars since I started driving, hard to keep track of them all, but those are the most recent and most interesting.
Currently looking for a decent Mid 90s 600SL or 760il for a commuter car.

actually the Corvair was considered a Mid engine car, because the motor sat forward of the rear axle.
I've seen some vintage commercials from back when those cars were new! HOLY CRAP, they took those things 4 wheeling, jumping, and ragged on them in the commercials....to show how reliable, durable, and well balanced they were. I always thought they were a weird, but kinda cool car.
