I'd definitely attend ... as long as it's not Sept 6-19 when I'm on vacation.

If the event was at Infineon, and maybe a paid event with track time/ auto cross as an option, it would make a great replacement to Hammy? You could count on LIC and whole bunch of track ****** to attend.

Right now, this is in the concept stages. Once I demonstrate a large enough demand, then the wheels will start turning. I'll fill you in later with details.

Hell, I'd drag all my non-subaru driving folks there. I might not even have to drag em. Sounds like a great idea, Greg.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen anyone even come to a decision about where the Mt. Hammy meet is going to be held, let alone any planning being done. Usually about this time, there would be t-shirt design threads, what to eat polls, and getting people worked up about this.

I'd like to see numbers exceeding the turnout at Mt. Hamilton...and definitely need at least 1xx yes votes to even show this to the involved parties to show them that there's some enthusiasm about attending. From what I've seen, the South Bay crowd wouldn't drive this far (to the North Bay), because they've always had Hammy right in their backyard.

As far as this event, the principal contacts and I have met to discuss this, and I simply have to demonstrate that there are people in the community who would appreciate the time/effort involved to show off the new Impreza.
yeah wheres all the hype this year. We have to get it started
