From what I know, the owner of the building was going to sell it (or something along those lines). Adam packed up the family and they moved to Colorado back in Oct 2020.

I think Noah and him fam are actually moving out pretty soon. Last think I saw from Adam was that he drove back to the bay and picked up Noah's Jeep and chopper and trailered them back to CO.

Guessing it is part of the main dash harness, so won't be easy to find. They are not giving the option of getting the car back at this point, so even if I find the harness from a wreck, won't do me any good.

We have agreed on an amount, which is obviously lower than what they go for on the open market, plus I can pull all of my easily removable parts off.

Picking up check today and found a wagon I am interested in.

 

So did the harness get damaged when they were doing the airbag stuff? Would another wagon/older suby potentially have the same issue (airbag recall + dealer mess up)?

 

Yep. They said while doing the replacement, the harness "became damaged". The paperwork for the issue was like 20 pages long. Whether age related or accidental, they don't have a replacement for it. I actually told them the same, if I get another of these cars will I have the same problem? Even the SOA person said this is the first time she's heard of an issue like this. The others I've looked at already had it done. Not sure about the one I am going to look at, since wasn't mentioned in his ad, and of course I will be asking that lol.
