What does Iclub think of FLAKERS?

Today and all week you have been telling me you wanted to buy and item from me. You even called me this morning and after us talking stuff over we agreed on meeting up in SanJose and the WESTFIELD Mall. I even went out of my way to deliver to you the item. I showed up and called/text you letting you know that i was there waiting for you like we had agreed. You did not anwer my call nor text me back. Why did you not just be a grown up and a straight foward person and just be straigh up with me, and just tell me you didnt want to buy it anymore? Why the **** did you have me drive out there for no ***ken reason? This is a first for me on iclub, I have never had an issue with this here but i guess theres a first for everything...but I will never do business with this guy anymore!!

Wow, sorry to hear that man! I think the guy could at least tell you what's going on instead of not replying or anything. It's a waste your time and gas. Someone else who needed the part could have picked it up instead of thinking it was sold already.
That's a shame. I've been bailed on by sellers before but that's not even remotely close to being bailed on by a buyer after going so far as to make a delivery.
The sales ratings are meant to deal with this kind of thing, but they don't really do a great job of it: If you leave him negative feedback you'd better bet you'll get the same from him. Obviously you could then contest the feedback, but that's a hassle. This friction is inherent in the feedback system as it currently functions, and is what prevents the system from really being useful.

Suck people do that. I have heard from a few that in the last 6 or so months there have been several new people hanging out in the for sale section either flaking on a person or hella low balling people. As with any sale or buy it can be a risk now a days.

I've had a few of these new kids flake on me, or after I make a bunch of arangements and I'm first in line, sell an item to someone else...

I feel your pain. People, especially on Craigslist, have little to no integrity at all. That's why I only agree to sell from my home or nearby since there are so many flakers.
I once drove 1.5 hours each way to pick up some wheels from CL only to have the guy ignore my phone calls. I get back home and there's an email saying they've been sold. Then I see him trying to sell the same wheels on i-club a month later.
