I just dont understand??? One goes out of there way to help out a dood and then he shafts one! Oh well i-club has changed alot in the last year or so...too many new people (mostly teens) who just cant hold on to there end of the bargain.

On a good note. I did meet up with a guy from Santa Rosa at the WestField mall. He drove all the way down here and I met him there. He even gave me a killer price on a AP v.1 for only 65$!! that included a custom stage2 map from FIL...So there are good people on here lets give up lol

No doubt there are good people on here and you are right a lot of newer people are young and not saying all but younger kids these days are flakes but majority are. I guess different generations raised differently. Sad but true.. you expect this to happen on CL but in some cases its the same here. Newer people I have noticed don't realise how close knit iclub really is.

That is some seriously ****ty ****, regardless of the situation. Mess with the person. Messing with the person's stuff when they are not around is some spineless pansy *** weak crap.

Flakes happen - it sucks. This is why you NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go out of your way for someone that you do not know or has not gone out of their way for you.

Eh, its happened to me. Douchebag would shoot me IM's all the time afterwards asking questions and acting like we were friends. It's annoying, but you get over it.

So far on CL I've found some pretty good people and haven't been flaked or have I flaked on them. I would let them know if I couldn't make it and rearrange for a better date. I haven't got anything from an i-club member yet.

I have only had good experiences with every purchase/sale on i-club. Been pretty lucky, sorry to hear about your recent experience.

I had some good luck with CL also, but this last time I had a strange experience, I was selling my Yamaha MOTIF XS7 for $2,000 I meet up with a guy, he checks out the whole keyboard **** and keys and look for scratches, then he says "I will take it." then he picks up the keyboard I put my hand down and said "nonono you not walking away with my keyboard, its not yours yet." and he says "Sure it is, I am buying it." and I said "Show me the money" and he said "I will show you the money when I load it in to my car." then I said "No, it stays with me till you pay for it." then he said "Here is $100 and I give you the rest when I load it in my car." then I told him "I am sorry, I don't wish to sell you this keyboard any more." then he gave me $2,000 after I said that....

That is weird. Usually the seller holds the item, the buyer produces all the cash, and they swap. But seriously, I'd side with you in this case.

People seriously have no social integrity. They feel that they have zero investment in others and so feel no need for any courtesy. But that's completely wrong.

Courtesy is a pay it forward concept and overall improves a society by butterfly effect.

Ive had quite a few flakers lately on the vehicles and items Im trying to sell. Someone told me they were coming to get my rims and never showed up. I took my other rims out from the storage so I can be ready but it was a waste of time and space.

Ive had about 10 people call me and tell me they're going to come and buy my trucks I have for sale and then they never show up. I smogged and washed them so they'd be good to go. Waste of time but thats just part of the buying/selling process sometimes.

The only options are to sell them dirt cheap and take a loss or keep playing the game.

That is WILD haha, I would do the same as you. CL can be a bit sketchy at times though.

Well back the the OP, it sucks that happened, it really does, but that's life. And life is full of people like that. I have to clean my garage one of these day, so hopefully this doesn't happen to me.
