What do you guys think?

here's my story, i traded trunks my carbon fiber for a crappy filled in holed wrx trunk off Blue T-WRex (cahse) he called me on the weekend of wheels and meals, i had a fever but i still let him come anyway to trade (me doing all the work) i used my snap on mini 7v gun with 12mm deep socket attached. I put the gun down in the trunk (my mistake) and closed the trunk and it wasn't properly adjusted and it got locked it. He was on a time crunch and his sub was in the way to go through the seat so he left with my gun and said that he was going to get his trunk open since he needed stuff out of it and mail it to me. it has been over a month over 12 text and multiple phone calls one he just hung up on me after i requested the return of my snap on gun and socket. what do you think i should do in this situation, he said he did not want to waste a whole tank of gas driving from San Jose to walnut creek for me to open the trunk to get my tools out. he mentioned he liked the tool when i was using it to take my trunk not knowing it would get stuck and i would not get it back. thanks for your input any help would be appreciated to get my tools back or payment would be nice :wtfd ude: i offered to meet in milpitas tomorrow but i doubt he is going to respond let alone bring it

tell him either waste the miles and gas, or ship it to you. You hooked him up with CF trunk, let him borrow the tools, did all the work when you guys were initially doing the swap. Sounds like youre the good guy and got robbed

Can you prove that you own the tool? Is it registered through snapon or anything? Do you have a receipt?

Personally I would just show up at his house and get my tools back.

We should find him and epoxy his tires to the ground. Then we'll see who doesn't want to "waste time/gas" after getting free work done on their car.
