Bit of good news.
The subaru of santa cruz folks stepped up and got the PS pump fixed. They replaced it and it's good to go.
No word on the turbo issue yet. They've been faxed a couple receipts so we'll see.

stupid son of a *****es.
Even with oil receipts which is what they asked for they are not going to warranty it. They want oil filter receipts as well. I'm sure if I provide those they'll say that's not enough. I'm going to read through my warranty very carefully.
Basically going to tell the guy that the dealership has known about my oil issues for MORE than a year. SOA for about 2 months. If my motor fails due to overstress from having no turbo I'm going to seek full replacement in court as well as damages for time lost. This is so much bull****.
I'm going down to the audi dealership next week probably. At the very least to take a test drive and have a look around and get some information.

I don't get it. Seriously.
the part and work cost them a few hundred bucks. Protects them from fault if my motor goes...a couple thousand dollars. Keeps a happy customer that is poised to purchase a couple more subaru's in his lifetime...possibly more than a couple as I go through cars ever 4/5 years. A happy customer that will spread suby love all over the internet as I have been for 4 years.
Instead they want to screw me over. **** me off. Loose all future car sales. And get a person that will stop at no end to drag this bull**** onto every subaru board on the net.
hmmmmm.....really worth a few hundred bucks....shoot a few hundred they already got from me in my warranty so in essense not costing them ****.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Ray, seriously I would cut your losses at this point. You're wasting your time and energy on getting this covered under warranty.
Remember if you take SOA to court they have an endless budget for handling warranty disputes.
I didn't have too much trouble getting a barely used turbo for less than $200. A couple exhaust gaskets, cat-less uppipe & downpipe, MBC, and a protune later you'll have a new feeling car.

I have some paperwork I'm gonna read through today/tonight.
My car is puking oil smoke right now.
Seriously. I might just trade it in on a black 07. They have one sitting there.
Either that or get a new turbo. Put it on. Sell the car....
How much is acceptable...if I keep say the rail deletes, the intake and possibly a few stereo parts. Leave all the JDM bits on it.
First of all BAR can step in and mediate. I know time is not best for you to be buying a new car. There should be no reason why you feel forced to get rid of your car and get another one. You paid for a warranty that they are not honoring. You say you kept up your end of the deal; they say you didn't. This is a dispute and that is exactly what BAR is for. Call them and get things going ASAP. At least you will know that you have exhausted all of your efforts and not willfully putting yourself in a postion you may not be the most comfortable in.
