... oh... no it's not. f'(f(0)) is easy. Just wait until you do complex multiple surface intercepts for volume/surface area calulcations, time/freq domain transforms, or just the plain old mathematician wet dream problems.

I don't remember more than half of the stuff I was taught when I did time as a physics major (astronomy, which became physics, and then astro-physics)... Never looking back

I gotta say, I'm impressed at some of the answers in this thread... Once ChimmChim started with his post it brought back so many memories. I wish I could use that type of math every day but in my line of work that's just not realistic so you tend to forget a lot of it... Kinda sad and makes me feel like I was cheated in some way. I wish I had a photographic memory where I could sort and delete pics/memories at will. That would ROCK.

OK let me clarify- fizay said "seems it would be zero" -not very conclusive, dk says "zero" with no explanation, neither of which are much help to the OP.
By "correct answer" I meant the statement that the derivative of any constant is zero and that answer didn't show up until the second page.
In the mean time there were discussions of infinity and undefined and a whole lot of stuff that leaves me hoping I never have to ride in a plane or drive a car that any of you bozo's have designed... ;-)
that's all I was saying
