LOL, I think you hit the nail on the head.

also 4g63, awd, lsd stock damn! crankwalk scared away tuners who shouldnt be messing around with them to begin with. hah
You know that the Eclipse was the second most-reviled "domestic" sportscar in Japan, right?

that means the cars had to be graceful to begin with. Quality designs that have stood the test of time and are still appreciated as nice. Designs that are still be copied today.

Not cars that look good modified.

The z is a solid contribution for sure. Car is 40 years old and still looks great... even stock. Though slammed on some wide tires it looks way better. LOL.
I still stick to my guns that the FD3S was and still is a fantastic-looking car, even bone stock. It just may not be old enough to fit in this thread depending on how one looks at it.

(I think the FD3S fits both categories, although it's not that old... only 20 years or so)

To clarify what the Pho Im saying.........

Car designers have one of the most difficult tasks in the world. Their designs have to draw buyers in, position their employer as an up-to-date manufacturer and ultimately sell cars. Then, come up with something else that makes the first thing obsolete. What car has aged the most gracefully?

Unlike some other cars of its era, the FD-generation Mazda RX-7 still grabs the eye in a way that doesn't scream, "Hey, the 1990s called. It wants its plastic cladding back." It's an elegant design that doesn't waste a single curve on old-school concepts like "cab forward" design. Imagine, with just a mild freshening, seeing the FD at the LA auto show these days. It would still look like it belonged, though perhaps not at the Mazda stand.

Now since its a Subaru forum, I thought I'd get the Classic Impreza chassis out of the way as 1st post. Also, yes I do believe the GC/GM platform tuned by STI is very graceful and looks ahead of its time; especially the GM8 22B. There are many other cars that look graceful, the whole point of me starting this thread was so YOU guys can post them up. DUH!!!!

Bottom line, this is a car pr0n thread, post past/historical vehicles that has impacted automotive history.

P.s. Not Including Modified cars.

These still look great today, and not in a retro nostalgic way either.
