It was IMPOSSIBLE to run speed lines when I went because someone would come under you and steel your lines and NO ONE would move. I was stuck behind a couple cars getting blue flagged for like 5-10 laps. Several times I just put my hands up. Guys trying to go 3 wide around the hair pin into the chicane. I was like WTF?

It really is that fun. Expensive but fun. Too expensive for me to do on a regular basis. If I was super into it I'd rather just get a shifter cart and run down at a regular course.
ya. ive never had to pay when ive gone. our work does work trades with them so we can go for free

We were there mid day. I think we went on around 1 or something like that. Left around 3 I think. I wasn't paying much attention.

Ya, btw all the records were set in races of 5+. Its better to run with a bunch of people of equal or similar skill to keep the track warm.

don't you mean 5+ EMPLOYEES... haaaa.

I could see if I was running with 4-6 other people that where going for times over race place would help but there's no way in hell I'd buy that it was just some regular group. Shoot in my group we had 2 former dirt track racers, a cop, me and my brother who are all half way decent drivers. But everyone was trying to kill each other and going for place and toss in a couple really slow drivers and guys that are line hogs and won't move when you're bumping them 6 plus times every lap telling them to move.

The monster record (19.96) was done in a grand prix of 10 people. The unbound record (16.87ish) was done on a league night in a race of 10. Lost was done on New years in a full race (36.1) and I think Khaos was on a busier race as well (20.01ish). Although all the racer were either regulars or employees lol. For perspective my best times are Unbound 17.5, Monster 20.6, Lost 36.9, I've only raced Khaos twice and ran a 21.1

that's nuts. Yeah I figured it'd have to be regulars and employees to get a good flow going and allow speed lines.

I think we had two guys in the 18's. I'm fairly confident that I could run consistant 17.5-17.9 with a loaded track. I can't honestly say I could get 16.8 though I'd bet that if I went 2 or 3 times I'd get close.

So much damn fun. I like the track configerations.

We should set up a meet up there. I'd make the drive. October maybe.

To be dead honest, most of the people that run faster then 17.9 are either people that come in all the time or employees, or they are former/current karters or open wheel racers. Alot of people with driving experience dont break 18 cause its completly different then driving a car on a track.

I bet if we set up a meet there they'd cut us a deal.

Specially if it's kind of an off hour time slot.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 01:40 AM.
