I do agree that if there were a group of us we simply could not take the Evo. Im a young guy, not married, no kids, and and not yet responsible for others I guess you could say. I also do agree the trunk is pretty small and that was honestly the ONE thing that made me have to think about buying the car.. I love fishing, shooting, camping, and all that good stuff. So it will be one slight downfall but like you said I will have to get a roof rack. I tild this to the dealership and told them I didn't want the car just for that specific reason actually, so they lowered the price by exactly how much a complete rack set-up would cost so I couldn't pass it up
P.S.- This is a forum, not English class.

PS - The "english class" thing is helpful when you're trying to shoo away haters. It's too funny when you say "if you are 18 years old" then go and type up "else-ware"

well... little update.
Talked to some close friends/family/enthusiasts.. Im starting to think the better choice would just be to keep the Subaru, rebuild the motor, and make it a track car for 1/3 the price of a new car that I would just dump money into.. The dealership is going to hate me if I back out but **** em'
what would YOU do?

Is there a problem with '06, or do you just want something new/different and with more power?
Is your '06 also paid off? Some people underestimate how much a new monthly car payment + insurance + gas eats up on their monthly expendable income.
Don't worry what the dealership will think. It's YOUR hard-earned money.

yeah i wouldnt worry much about a dealer, however i usually buy cars i can pay off in full. the one car, well truck, i financed kill me on monthly, insurance, and diesel. pretty much what was stated above.
if you rebuild the suby do it right the first time and do a full rebuild and do it the way you want it so you do not have to go back into the motor later.

Also the fact that I just sold all my performance parts+wheels off
an yes, the car is paid off.

However, if you're making very good money and can afford:
- New car monthly payment
- New car insurance
- Gas
- Maintenance
....and still have a nice chunk of leftover expendable income to mod the Evo to your liking, then it (sort of?) makes sense to have a (highly?) modded sporty car to enjoy while you're still young
