Weird Letter
I just returned from my mailbox and received a note from CSU Sacramento. It basically says that I owe $35 for an unpaid parking ticket. Thing is, I haven't been to Sacramento in like 2 years (I haven't ever driven my car there either). What's odd is that it has my car information i.e. VIN, License Plate #, & the make, model, color. I'm appealing it as we speak on the grounds that it was impossible for my car to be there when I was at work in San Jose. Is it possible that DMV/Sacramento are in cahoots? Or did someone just steal my car right under my nose, take it for a trip to Sacramento, get a parking ticket, drive it back, and park it right where I left it that day? I'm kind of confused on this one. Anyone have any input?
C/n: Sac State sent me a ticket for parking w/o a permit even though I haven't been to Sacramento in 2 years. I am appealing it right now. What do you guys think?

"You are now entering the twilight zone..."
Seriously though, maybe someone you knew borrowed it that day and you forgot?
That or that ticket has been floating around in the system and only surfaced now but even that's stretching it.

They could have miskeyed the lic plate on the car that was there and you have now become the winner.
They get all the other info from your plate. So if the ticket cop hits the wrong key. You can win the lottery.
If you have online banking. Check online for any transactions that day that would prove you elsewhere.
