What you guys think about the pick? Good athlete. Good size. Decent on offense in the paint. But he's soft. No bet aggressive. Not that good on defense or the boards. Maybe green will rub off on him
It's crazy how many max deals are being given to mediocre players right now. Doesn't look like Durant is leaving OKC, and now word is that Harrison Barnes might be getting more than $20m/year ($22.5m is the max he can get).
Damn. Did the W's put all their eggs in the Durant basket? If he doesn't jump ship to the W's, are we stuck with just Barnes and Ezeli coming back? Seems like all the 2nd tier FAs that sports writers say the W'a are interested in are signing deals now.
Please enlighten me as this isn't looking good to me right now...

Wow, I'm giddy with excitement today!!

Harrison Barnes, enjoy your max deal in Dallas.
Bogut is already salty, has taken the Warriors logo off his twitter page. He's gone as well.
Ezeli is gone too.
Warriors looking for a cheap big man through free agency.
Kevin Durant taking a 2 year $54m deal. Which is essentially a 1 year deal.

that link don't work...but yeah it's happening
Wow. Wasn't sure it'd happen but hoping for many moments of excitement.
Let's see how they negotiate both Durant and Curry next season. Wonder if he'll bounce out if they don't win next year...

He made this move to take a shot a winning a championship this year. I hope they come up against the cavs again and he destroys lebron.
I don't see Durant playing until he's pushing 40. I think he'll retire younger than people expect and he wants to do that with a couple rings. I don't see how they'll be able to afford them both next year unless Curry agrees to a massively back fed contract. Curry is gonna have quite a few teams trying to pull him away from GS. Especially if they win another title..
The local media reporters are saying the Warriors will have enough cap space to sign both Curry (Bird rights) and Durant to max contracts. I don't know the math behind it all, but it's possible. Curry's not going to leave Warriors...Management is making every effort to win it all for the next few years. Can't say the same for any other team. And you'll still have Thompson and Green on the team for years to come.
