WARNING Crap E-85 at sunol pumps

Hey

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that is running E-85

I know this is probably just a bad batch and a temporary thing so I will edit post once I go back and test and find it good.

I filled up on 2-14-2013 and immeadiately after driving away my car started to stumble and run rough. Before getting home I popped a bank 1 lean code.

I have not tested whats in my tank yet, but I will do that tonight and post up the numbers, I am 99.99999% confident it is the fuel however, as normally with good e-85 my exhaust smells like elmers school glue, and right now its smells pretty much like it does on 91 octane.

BTW who ever said it smells like french fries must not be running catless with cams LOL.

You need a Zeitronix's E85 Analyzer Kit. I'm only gonna pump at Propel.

Meh I have a zeitronics wideband With an idiot light and buzzer so if I lean out it makes all kinds of noise. The noise equates to hey idiot stay out of boost till you get better gas.

Im just pissed because Im on a very soft initial tune and was supposed to get my final tune on Monday so I either need to burn through this tank b4 then or push my tune back till later.

Yeah I think Sione said not to get Sunol E-85, I think it's thompson fuels? like the Hayward one off of A street. Their race or higher octane fuel is great but the e-85.. I dunno.

I have been getting my e85 in Hayward and sac and had no problems. I carry my tester in my car but was being lazy. I will never make that mistake again.i had enough to make it to Fremont but yeah. My car will barely run on this crap.

I called the owner to let him know but he has yet to call me back. Just wanted to give my subie peeps the heads up.

I would like to make a sticky for prices and quality but because the stuff would change rapidly I dont think it would work.
