E85 at Sunol

Has anyone tried the E85 pump at the sunol station to see how their E85 is?

I drove by it the other night to check it out but couldn't locate anything about where it's from.

I'm a bit curious as to where it's from...pearson, propel...I usually only fill up with propel either at chevron in fremont of chevron in milpitas. I think i'll fill up from here now on rather than drive all the way to fremont of milpitas!!! $2.79 a gallon!!!

thanks!

^ I've been told that it's more like E87, but that's all I know.

$2.79 is SO CHEAP! E85 is ~$3.50 in San Jose.

$2.79 is cheap, its crap how E85 has gone up so much. Doubt we will ever see E85 dip below $3 again.

True, but I do burn it faster.
When I factor in mileage loss and cost per gallon, I break about even.

i make out ahead.

18mpg with e85 vs 21 mpg with ca91
$3.39 e85 vs 4.39 with CA91

that's a 14% drop in mileage, but a 23% drop in price. Worth it!

I'm gonna go up to Sunol in the morning and check it out.

I haven't been able to yet. I just refilled my tank with my 3x5 gallon reserve jugs so it'll be another week or so before I can fill up at sunol

Stevenson & paseo padre i think

If Sunol is really $2.80, that saves $8 per tank compared to SJ e85 =\ Looks like I'll be going there from now on
