that's awesome!

$6886 for a 250hp WRX powered Vanagon, seeing the look on peoples faces when I pass them going up hill doing 100mph...priceless!

My dad has a Vanagon and when the motor blew I tried to get him to put an EJ25 in it.

But he didn't

How does that not get extremely heat soaked. But aside from that it is awesome.

We do Vanagon conversions at my work, but only EJ22's. There is a kit that includes an adapter for the tranny, and I think motor mounts. I'm not entirely sure though. The worst part of the conversion is wiring, there is a little bit of fabrication for cooling lines, and some other stuff. Exhaust, I think. They don't let me work on non-Subarus at work, so I don't know much about the conversion other than that the stock Vanagon motors were extremely unreliable, under powered, and liked to blow head gaskets. I think anything more powerful than an EJ22 in a Vanagon would be extremely frightening. We rebuilt an EG33 for a conversion, the owner of that VW is brave. Some cars just aren't meant to go fast. Like Lincoln Continentals.

Aaron
LIC Motorsports is in the process of be building a EJ25 conversion Vanagon, as you all know Adam is known for his wiring on the EJ20 conversions. Call the shop if you have any questions.

Phone: 415.892.7400

Email: info@licmotorsports.com

Thanks,
Noah
