Valet parking is stupid...if your date wont walk from the opposite side of the parking lot (door ding free zone) to the restaurant then she isnt worth it!

its the owners fault, people think cars are just cars. Theyre not
Humans should be treated as humans
Dogs and Cats should be treated as humans
Cars should be treated as humans
Even if no outside damage happens, who knows if they grinded the gears, added some chipped teeth into your tranny fluid, and you wonder why your tranny blows up in a few months.

the only time someone drives my car is either at the car wash (and I can hear it the whole time) or getting it serviced. Car wash I don't do valet mode, but for any kind of service (tires, brake work, blah blah blah) I put it in valet mode.

I've never had a problem finding parking. Sure, it's harder, but some say they never go to the city because it's so hard to drive there too...
One time, I was at a body shop with a friend who was checking out the progress on his Z06. They had a brand new 575M in there with something like 1200 miles on the clock that was missing the whole front end. Apparently an 18yo valet plowed it into a brick wall after driving it about 150 ft. Wonder if he still has a jorb...
I dunno, any time you let someone drive your car without you there you are taking a risk. The last time my R32 was at a VW dealer in the east bay, it came back with 246 extra miles on the clock. I bet those were fun miles.
