UTEC, is it a gas saver (in valet mode)?

could I run my car on vallet mode to save gas, would it be safe, is anyone doing this.
It's probably safe to drive around in valet mode but you won't like it. Most of these maps use lower boost (n00b) settings to limit engine output so some guy can 'safely' park your car without blowing it up. The car will be so slow that it feels like it's a normally aspirated, very low compression engine, although there is usually a few pounds of boost available.

These valet modes are not fuel saving settings. The way you drive affects fuel economy more than anything else you can do to your car. Other factors are the amount of traffic during your normal commute, the terrain, and whether it's mostly urban or freeway driving.

I've been able to get 28 to 29 miles per gallon on the highway with no traffic to contend with, and got just over 30 mpg on one trip where my goal was to get the best economy possible. This was in an '02 WRX.
