IMO i think its faster to do the up pipe install if you just jackup the engine. That is what i did when i installed the uppipe.

The fastest way is to pay a shop to do it. I'd much father fork over some cash to have someone who knows wtf they're doing under there then screw it up like I did on mine.

follow the vishnu instructions. I've installed alot of uppipe for people and this method works the best. Removing the turbo will take alot of time and be a pain getting the coolant/oil lines on and off.

I stripped a few bolts, yelled at the wall, got WD-40 in my eye, cut my hand, and in the end I left the o2 sensor off and couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. All that took me about eight hours. Screw uppipe installs.

I guess the only thing worse then installing them is taking them off right?

Never heard of having to jack up the engine to get the uppipe out?

just take off the manifold and the downpipe, the uppipe will slip out of the bottom.

Make sure you soak all the bolts with Catalyst before you break them loose. Also it's a good idea to replace the gaskets with new ones or use copper spray, that'll prevent having leaks out of the joints.

hey tommy you ever do an uppipe install? the stock one doesnt exactly slide out. its a lot easier to jack up that side of the motor and then it comes out with no wrestling and is a lot quicker then taking off the turbo too.

Have done several actually, but never had that issue. Maybe I just got lucky...

Hmm, the first time I installed mine, it took 9 hours. Two or three of those hours were spent searching for a bolt that never existed in the first place. I went the turbo-pulling route which I would NOT recommend. I also made the mistake of only replacing one gasket, so the second time I did the install, I just pulled the manifold and the downpipe like porkchop said. It only took about 3 hours, but that was on a lift with air tools. If I ever had to do it again, I would jack up the motor though. I think that would have made my first up pipe experience much more pleasant.
