Have they gone to a flat tax yet? I'm fine with doing that if it means I no longer have to worry about doing my State Taxes (and the money is HOPEFULLY being used appropriately).

Hi all,

Effective April 1, 2011, there are new sales tax rate for some of the cities. San Leandro has been changed from 9.75% to 10%; Union City has been changed from 9.75% to 10.25%; El Cerrito has been changed from 9.75% to 10.25%; Concord has been changed from 9.25% to 9.75%. Good news is San Francisco and Oakland will remain the same as 9.50% and 9.75%.
