I know he doesn't like working on products that are not his own, but yeah...
Besides, how many other people have AWD dynos in their shop?

Anyways, talk to the poeple who actually know how to tune, like Shiv or myself. Poeple who talk a lot are great at talking, but people that actually have years of experience in what they do is another.
As for AWD dyno's in thier shop, that is awesome, and...

skywalker you work at I-SPEED what do you think I should do?
I was thinking of sending the chip to txs remaping it and then having someone tune the car to the map settings.
I dont want to be the quickest wrx but I want a gain and I want to be SAFE

I would really suggest getting rid of the unichip all together. I really hate saying this to poeple but it is a piece of crap. The stock ECU is constantly adjusting parameters, in order for the car to run optimally under heavy load conditions or cruising on the highway.
When you add in the UNICHIP it will work well for a short time, but the stock ECU starts to adjust and compensate for the UNICHIPS adjustments. It's like putting a bandaid ontop of a bandaid. You are really not fixing the problem just temporarily making it better. In the end the UNICHIP is NOT safe and NOT reliable. A MAF/MAP for the UNICHIP control is far better then a TPS reading but still will give the same results in the end, good for a while. This is what I have seen from experience and in how the unit actually works.
There are a few options, either a EcuTeK (through I-Speed or Vishnu), UTEC (which is not to bad though I prefer a reflash of the stock ECU). The WRXLink is one more option. If you would to talk to us, just e-mail me and we can talk some more.
Cheers,
Bill

Actually, this sounded like you were directing it towards Vishnu, since he was the only other tuner brought up in this thread... actually, the only tuner in this thread.
So please, spare me the "Daniel you are wrong" comments, as we all knew what you were talking about.

Also... as far as the "people" talking comments... Yeah, I can talk about Shiv all I want, simply because he is a kick *** tuner... probably the best tuner (when it comes to subies) in the states.
How many years of tuning experience do you have Bill?
So yeah, please.

Sorry, I'm stresses as hell... I have a final in 3 days... have 2 days to learn 3 chapters. (math). I'm just irritated.
PS: I do agree that the unichip sucks... I just thought he was gonna keep it regardless.

As for MPJ, I don't think he is a professional tuner as of yet, but he the ability to do so if they like. Hell everyone has the ability but it is the time, patience, experience, and bull**** like this you have to deal with every day to become a good one.
Hopefully that celars that up.
Did I say you were wrong? I was just trying to clarify. I know I think we have clarified it.
