Shiv is probably the way to go. He's the only professional tuner in CA I think. (He also has a dyno!).

If you originally bought your unichip from Shiv, he will reflash it for free. If you bought it second hand from someone else who bought it originally, he now charges $100 for each reflash, and another $200 an hour for dyno time. The reason I know is I had my unichip reflashed last year. Hope this helps.

Okay. First of all, I will tell you from experience, DO NOT TAKE A TXS CHIP TO SHIV!!! TurboXS' chip and harness reads MAF/MAP signals. Vishnu chips and harnesses reads TPS signals. You cannot take your chip to Shiv and have him reflash it with the TurboXS harness. He will give you a BS story about how it makes you lose 28 whp and how it introduces static into the system If you want him to tune your chip, you will have to buy one of his harnesses and have him tune it for you. So that would be $100 for a reflash, $100+ for his harness, and another $200 for 1 hour of tuning.

If I were you, send it back to TurboXS for a reflash for a Stage that they have near yours. Yes, the TurboXS map will run pretty rich, but it will save you a lot more money in the long run.

Also, TurboXS re-flashes chips for free. They will also NOT give you a CEL for misfires like the Vishnu unichip does at high rpms (6500-7000).

skywalker you work at I-SPEED what do you think I should do?
I was thinking of sending the chip to txs remaping it and then having someone tune the car to the map settings.
I dont want to be the quickest wrx but I want a gain and I want to be SAFE

Research? I don't see how Shiv wouldn't be a professional tuner. ??

I know he doesn't like working on products that are not his own, but yeah...

Besides, how many other people have AWD dynos in their shop?
