Yea.. sadly I haven't had time to do complete tunes before/after the headers, so I can't do a true comparison. The only thing I can say is that I felt a significant difference in boost transitions and an overall smoother power band but I can't show any actual numbers to back it up.

Thanks

Ed hasn't done the comparison but Rainmaker on iwsti and nasioc did an independent dyno test of stock vs. ported stock vs. ported stock+Xpipe vs. Perrin equal length uncoated.

And they are about to do Gruppe-S unequal length uncoated vs. coated as well i think

Search for his thread, it's in the engine performance section of iwsti and the PPB section of nasioc

Oh, I know that they did that comparison, but that was on a stage 2 STi, and am wondering what differences the gains will have on a 2.0L vs the 2.5L. Since the reason to keep the stock manifold is to try to keep the lag as little as possible, but the extra .5L makes a big difference in the lag.

Jeremy from Crucial stated on the 17th that Ed was still planning to do the comparison, so I'm just wondering if that's still happening.

I did some basic testing before and after the header install and couldn't see any quantifiable gains. While I did feel smoother boost onset and an increase in overall response, there is nothing I can show on a graph. I don't think this is because its a 2.0, but rather because I'm still running the stock turbo. I will soon be installing a 16G and I might throw the stock headers back on for a comparison with the increased flow rates.

Thanks

Its deffinately a fun drive . For this level of mods I generally recommend 1 step colder plugs due to the increased boost and power levels. I'm going to put those in and hopefully I can get similar power with richer a/f and lower EGT's. After that, the 16G is going in

Thanks
