The Continued Misadventures...

So damn if I wasn't in another "incident" today. Fortunately there was no vehicle to vehicle contact but there was a crazy old lady involved. I was behind some green camry thing at a red light waiting to turn left into a Raleys parking lot (the Natomas meet parking lot coming from Regency Park on Natomas). The light turns green and she sits there, and sits there. I don't honk or make any obscene gestures but I DO pass her in the two lane entrance route to the supermarket once she gets moving (maybe 15 seconds), no burnouts, maybe a little SLP rumble but no biggie. We pull in to the supermarket lot and I am in front of her, and a guy in an SUV is letting his trophie wife out in front of me and she is taking forever. Again, I slowly pass on his left (Wife on the right) to get around him, with maybe just a little rumble but that was mostly clutch in for effect, I was maybe moving at 7-10 mph. So I finally make it to a Wells Fargo where I am intending to pay off my equity line and celebrate with a nice Jamba Juice afterward. I pull into a slot and the Camry lady pulls up next to me, gets out of her car and just starts laying into me. Every cuss word you could use, she used, all the while her young daughter is in the back seat. I stand there dumbfounded, listening to this tirade about how I almost killed everyone and almost hit her car (not even close...) and then I finally managed to ask her if she talked to every 6 foot tall male she has a difference of opinion with this way? She continued into me and I finally just asked her(getting a bit angry now) "Why don't you just get the f*** out of here?". And she suggested that I get out of here and I told her that wasn't going to be an option as my car was there and she was there and would probably scratch it. She then started in on the whole "ohhh you think your car is so hot sh** mr race car driver, well let me tell you blah blah blah" and then of course she says, "I'm calling the police!" . About this time I am thinking just leaving would be a bad idea because if she stayed and I left, I figured I might be in trouble, and now there are 20 something people standing around with their thumbs up their butts watching. So I stand there, arms folded while she tells this operator how this crazy man almost ran down half the Raley's parking lot and almost hit her car and how she is afraid I am going to hurt her and so on." She also read them my license number. Now I am just enraged, me hurt her? She started it, I am just standing here, now I could go to jail because she is starting to make stuff up. Anyway, at that point appearently the operator or whatever tells her to get in her car, roll up her windows and drive away. So anyway, I am back home now, wondering if some cop is going to come banging on my door. I have a job interview Friday and need to produce a clean DMV sheet, wondering if this can somehow show on it even though I don't appear to have any chance to defend myself, or... Will it just go away? I didn't touch her, her car, or anyone else. The only one that thinks I am a crazy punk is her. I haven't had a ticket in almost 5 years now, and have no criminal record for what that is worth... Anyone been through something like this?

Yeah don't worry. What a ******. I have a theory about middle aged women in camry's. The thing to do would be to laugh at her and get her really pissed so she makes herself look like a raving loon, and then call the cops and say you're being harassed, threatened and are afraid to leave the premesis for the safety of your property.

Nah, dude, you're cool. My absolute favorite thing is when someone claims you did something but has no witnesses and threatens to call the cops. "OK, you do that :rotfl:".

Sorry you ran in to ****y - I'll keep my eyes out for a green camry with an old bag that needs a slap.

its not a police issue. you did nothing criminally wrong, it was a small civil dispute in which no one, or no ones property were harmed. your fine.

True dat! I did manage to zing her once, but it was kind of clumsy because I was so shook up about everything. She started reading my license plate frame (Whatever the heck for?) and I have my "Camaro SS Owners Association" frame and she started doing that south park "Stan Darsh" type "oooooooohhhhh big race car driver blah blah" so I said "Oh you are just mad because you you are a single mom and aging poorly." I hope that after all her adrenaline wore off she settles in to that thought every time she looks in the mirror. She honestly looked like a marine corp bulldog with glasses.
