www is JUST subdomain technically...

I don't see the big deal if people can see www or not.. because if a domain is setup correctly you can type it in a browser as:

i-club.com
www.i-club.com
https://www.i-club.com
https://www.i-club.com

I never type anything before the domain... i always type in i-club.com unless it has a subdomain like forums.i-club.com
or https://i-club.com

But I can understand if you made a business card and they don't like the domain being cut off.. (if I am understanding this correctly.)

 

Only thing cut off was a part of the www and a part of the com. Domain name itself was big and bold.

Cards still look good. They went to print... one last week. One this week. Hopefully get my proofs early next week. I'm STOKED to see them.

not if the web developer is smart...

usually, i check if SSL is needed for a web traffic. then i force it to do so. but given the overhead for encryption is a lot, i only use it WHEN needed.

i also check WHEN it is NOT needed too...

 

I'm literally just starting right now.

I did some work on our organic site. I designed one for a produce company a few weeks ago that came out PIMP but it's not in use yet and not done. I'm working on a MASSIVE one for a glass maker right now. Working on one for a medical company right now. And I think we have like 2 more on the books.

So I'm just starting but it's getting handed to me in a BIG way. Don't do ANY coding though. We have a company that handles that.

Basically if you give me a size I can figure out how to design in it. From 1 inch by 1 inch to the side of a building. (largest so far is a big rig)
