Chris,

Have you priced housing here in the bay recently? You have to be a rich yocal to buy a house here. $500,000 on the average, and that is a low number.

If you buy a house in the valley, you can live fat dumb and happy for around $250K.

People are simply being priced out of the Bay. I know that never, in my wildest dreams, could I afford even a shanty in East Palo Alto here in the Bay.
