yup, got it, one more person who is terrified at the prospect of having their own beater truck modified. its noted you are not the type of person who this prank would appeal to. thanks for the input. good thing this is not in any way about you, but way to bring it back to yourself anyhow.
you cranky old dudes are the reason i-club is a ghost town these days, psychotic physical threats don't play well with the general public believe it or not. you can disagree with someone and persuade them without the over the top aggression. consider seeking help if your reaction to something you disagree with is physical threats or intense uncontrollable rage.

You posted a solicitation for people's money, labor and approval to modify a stranger's vehicle while he is out of the country...while indicating your type of "cool ideas" are gylwing doors, altering suspension, donk rims, etc. Some of these tend to be non-reversible modifications and greatly effect the safety of a vehicle.
This has nothing to do with this place sucking, you simply choose a sensitive topic and presented it poorly. Exactly what did you expect our reactions to be, sunshine?
EDIT: I do apologize for the tone and wording on my initial reply. It was not objective or tactful. Bad day at work + too much wine at dinner = passionate outburst

As you yourself pointed out, we do not know anything about this truck, yourself or your friend. Yet you failed to provide any detailed background information that would help us better understand the situation. This is a car forum not a Martha Stewart knitting club. By default people tend to be passionate and loyal about vehicles regardless of how mad tyte ballah they are.

gullwing doors is an idea, safety concern was not considered, thank you for bringing up that point, it probably wont happen based in this input. We've already located an extra hood and plan on putting on a hood scoop on it and keeping the original in my garage.
Dickbutt is always a welcome suggestion, thankyou for that.

May be find a spare set of wheels and make them pink Hello Kitty, Justin Bieber, or some other obnoxious style?
Top Gear mod his stereo? Get a duplicate one from junk yard, super glue all of the buttons so he cannot do jack, make it play something he does not like really loud as soon as he turns on the car.
Or just get the wrecker version of the truck and put in on blocks where he expects his truck...make it look like it got parted out during the night?
