It's too bad that with sales going up on cars like the forester and legacy S.O.A. is completely turning it's back on the people that kept it alive for the last 20 years.
The motorsports fans and slow loving fans.
Making cars less off road capable and less fun to drive is fine but keeping at least a finger on your roots is always a good idea.
Good for travis though. Thinking maybe he knew he was up against a wall if he ever wanted to truly give WRC a try... no factory support, inferior product... etc.
Travis is a competitor and whoever manages to capture his attention for the next few years stands to make a bunch of money.
Really sad that I've been looking at Ford's lately. Sad sad sad.

You shouldn't be sad about looking at Ford's. We're finally getting the Euro-spec Fiesta and will be getting the Euro-spec Focus (finally) in the near future. That includes the sweet C-Max mini-minivan!

Again, I think it was just the fact that Travis has all of these other commitments that interfered with him being able to run a fully rally schedule. Subaru and S.O.A. are still providing the contingencies for rally in the U.S. and AFAIK, they will be running a full team next year despite Travis not being a part of it. It sucks that Travis won't be sporting a Subaru, but he's given the brand a huge audience here in the U.S. and we should be thanking him for that.
