Your clutch is shot...hence...5 grand for new tranny Do the two actually correlate??? Maybe they should replace the clutch too.

Are they trying to say that since your clutch is shot it caused the tranny to go out and they won't warranty the tranny because of that? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Did you notice clutch issues before your tranny let go?
You may want to get the local Subaru rep involved and see if you get a better response.

The thing is i had them look at my tranny 3 times cuz i knew my trans was fooked from the get go. they had the rep out there today he said no way they will warrenty it(all this was over the phone) I drive over any and then there story changes tune well we can split the cost 50 -50. I call up florin where i bought the car they say they will fix it. Will a new gear set fix it they say there is damage in the trasnfer case also.
