Tranny Blew @ 2:55pm on sunrise
took it up to 4500rpms in 1st hit second .....va va va boom...click click click. pulled over would not even go into 1st or 2nd. had it towed to single springs subaru. they are going to call me 2 marrow. my question is i had 29998miles on the car. should it be taken care of under warrenty? I bought the car with cat-back and lowered from the dealership. if they dont i am FOOKED.
Shingle Springs is a decent dealership. Nothing special, but they've never attempted to screw over my family (or family friends who have been going there for almost 8 years).
I would expect them to be relatively honest, unlike other dealers I've heard about... (*cough*stevenscreek*cough*)

like 3 weeks after i got my car and told them my tranny was acting funny from 1st gear, they said they could not duplicate the problem but documented it. i have three different papers saying i was having problems with it and 3 times they told me nothin wrong so i hope they man up and fix my ish. if not i think i might have to get a STI gear set. does MPJ you sell gear sets?

That will not be good for the center differential. Have it put on a flat bed truck, and then driven to the dealership.

There must be some sort of tranny eating magnet on Sunrise. I lost 3rd gear on Fair Oaks just after I turned off Sunrise. At least I still had the other 4 gears though, so I was able to keep driving (although with much rattling as bits o'3rd gear settled into the bottom of the case).
I have about 31,000 miles on the Rex and have treated the tranny with kindness from day 1.of course I also have 350 crank hp, several track days, and 280 pulls on Vishnu's dyno on the car...

So the dealership calles me at 8:00am this morning wakes me up. "Adam" "yea" "its jeff from shingle springs subaru, there is a problem with ur tranny we have to drop it to take a better look"

02silversuby - Yea we sell tranny's but in all honesty with your mod level you should be covered no problem by the dealer. If you still want something stonger or they don't hit us up and we'll see what we can do.
