This. I'm confused as to how you got an illegal left hand turn? Further more, it's hard to imagine that they were pulling a bunch of people over right there... if it is where I think it is (right where you get onto the 101N or Old Middlefield from shoreline), that's not exactly the safest place to be doing that.

All I can say is California has a ****'d up law...haha, but seriously u should ask a mt. View PD. To see if its illegal to make a left turn onto that intersection.

I haven't been over there in a while, is there a sign there that says you cannot turn left at all or during certain hours? I got a ticket like that in Santa Clara - I didn't see the sign, but it says no left during commute hours(with hours listed).
