http://www.nctd.com/review-intro.cfm...&ReviewID=1870

test drove the 5 spd auto and it was pretty smooth.. going to re-test the 6 spd manual tranny when a local dealer gets one.

You'd have to get the roof painted (just never been a fan of white tops unless it's an old school Mini) but other than that it is one sweet ride. Especially the option to lock the rear diff that will come in handy if you take it off roading. Overall I like the look especially in the Charcoal Grey and I'm a sucker for suicide doors. If I didn't stumble across my last deal I would consider that car as an option. So in otherwords do it Pres!! Well wait to test drive the six speed first and decide between the two...

Opps didn't know all Black was an option

I hope this doesn't start a losing trend for Toyota. Hopefully they can break the pattern of companies re-visiting old designs...

Ford GT
Ford Thunderbird
Ford Mustang
Chevy HHR
Chevy SSR
Chrysler PT Cruiser (although it was the "original" one that started the retro craze)
BMW Mini Cooper (way too overweight)
