dude. i have almost hit that median so many times. its after that tiny little hill and it isnt even big as a normal curb.

they did that when they were tryign to restore those train tracks.

the wife curbed the prius tires on it once. we are still fighting the city over that one

With what the cop told you. I'd get a lawyer I'd sue the city. They know its a problem. But have not fixed it.. $$$$$$$

Well you have what the cop said.

You can pull the traffic study up for that part of the road. Then pull the accident history as well. Should be easy. Scan for complaints.... You already have one i-club member state he's complained.. So they know its a hazard.

In court get a traffic engineer to state how dangerous that is being there and its not needed and causes wrecks.

Case won... I'd talk with a lawyer about it before you sign anything or even touch that car.

my car cost 10k to fix cuz the drivetrain was all wrecked but it wasnt declared totalled.

does totaling your car bump up your insurance like crazy compared to an accident with no total?

go out to the median and put up a sign that says "if you have hit this median contact X X X X X X X X X X" then gather all their info together and show it to the judge.

That sucks. It took me a while to get used to that median. There was nothing there before, just flat train tracks. Funny thing is that they just put that in recently, and now they need to get rid of it. Since when do they need a center median for a train crossing, anyway?
