TMIC fitment issue! Help!!

You need to take off the metal head breather piping, as well as the rubber gasket on the bottom of the air splitter. You can trim it later.

Ya might have to cut the air splitter :/

Wow that looks way off. It could possibly be that the v7 intake manifold/throttle body differs from the usdm counterparts in terms of bracket placement or if the brackets are different as I've only installed a couple spearcos on v7 motors and that was a while back. If you install a v7 sti tmic on a usdm gd sti you will notice that the driver side black bracket is too short about a inch or so and needs to be extended. Judging from the pictures this seems to be your problem(spearco tmic sits higher than normal). If you have a friend near you with a wrx or sti you can double check to see if there is difference between the black driver side brackets. Also is that the original black(blue and red as well) turbonetics(painted on the hose) it normally comes with? Honestly if you were closer to me it wouldn't be too hard to get that thing to fit or that 30r but that wouldn't be fair to Ed. Maybe some mild bending and some dremel action to get it to fit like a glove. Maybe even better than Dereks which is a darn good install.
